The Kutztown HOBOs are a group of 30 members from Kutztown, and the surrounding communities. To be a HOBO you must be a man of strong character and have a genuine love for helping your community. You also have to love a good time!

The Kutztown HOBO organization was founded in 1965 during Kutztown's sesquicentennial celebration. Several other organizations were founded at the time but most have not survived. Originally operating out of a cigar box, the HOBOs endured and grown, due to our commitment to helping others and our wonderful membership.

Our Mission
The Kutztown HOBOS are a non-profit
organization established in 1965 as part of Kutztown’s
sesquicentennial celebration. The HOBOS organization
consists of thirty members that raise funds through
their various fund-raising efforts, giving it all back
to their local communities. Perhaps the lesser known
fact about the organization is what “HOBO”
The Kutztown HOBOS are a non-profit

The mission of the Kutztown HOBOS is to raise funding
to support those in need in the Kutztown, Topton,
Fleetwood, and surrounding areas. The Kutztown
HOBOS are always looking to help others in need in
the communities they serve including funding
scholarships, supporting local veterans, after school
programs for children, local libraries, families displaced
from their homes, families challenged with sickness,
and providing meals to those in need during the holidays.
The Kutztown HOBOS are a registered 501(c)3
non-proit organization looking to continue to help
others before themselves.
